Ascend to the top floor and you will find yourself in the largest room in the
house (4.9m x 5.8m), with a window and a traditional Maltese wooden balcony overlooking the street.
The comfortable queen-sized bed with its thick wooden posts looks most romantic. A little desk with a green marble top, convenient for writing that one post card you promised you'd send, can be found in another corner of the room.
The original artwork in the room is
a photographic interpretation of Gericault’s painting
“The Raft of the Medusa”. Measuring
almost 2 meters in width, with a cast of 12 models and
a specially built set, it features the story of the
survivors from a ship called Medusa at the moment they
spot a ship on the horizon
In the evenings settle comfortably in
the two armchairs and have a read of the
books on Malta and other reading material on the shelves.
We also provide you with an iPod player so don't forget to bring your iPod with you.
